Congratulations to the students from Grange National School in co. Tipperary who recorded and produced a music CD as their Junior Entrepreneur Programme. Together with Bogdan Music they picked their songs, rehearsed and recorded them. The students designed the CD cover and explored their marketing skills during the launch and sales of the album. Grange definitely HAS GOT TALENT!
You can listen to one of the songs from the album here: https://youtu.be/fugGOIJ3AY4 So much fun we had with the children from the Jonathan Swift National School in Dunlavin. They recorded their own original song that is now being mixed and produced. Soon available on iTunes, Spotify and other platforms. I'm so excited to work with Miri on her debut album "Golden". There is so much talent, unforgettable melodies and great lyrics to capture. This is what Miri says about her music:
"My name is Miri Yuste and I'm a 16 year old girl who is passionate about music. I've loved singing and performing since I can remember. Growing up I learnt how to play piano and guitar. When I was 13, I wrote my first song. Now it's three years later, and I've written many more. I have been given the chance to record some of them with Bogdan for my first album 'Golden'. Music to me is time for myself. It is how I express what I'm feeling or going through in my own way. I am happiest when I am sat at my piano singing. Music is a huge part of who I am and I couldn't imagine my life without it. What started out as a hobby has now developed into something I hope to pursue as a career. I am so excited to share my music with everyone and I'm grateful to Bogdan for giving me the opportunity to do so." Children and teachers from Coolgreany National School have something special for the parents, families and the local community this Christmas. In the last few months they were working on their Christmas CD. Each class prepared a song that was later recorded in the school during their recording day. The students together with the graphic designer created a beautiful cover to accompany their album. The CD is now available to purchase in the school. You can also listen to one of the songs from the album on YouTube or by clicking the link below. Well done everyone! Congratulations to all the students and teachers from Gaelscoil Éadan Doire who celebrate the 10'th anniversary of their school. In the past few months they were working hard rehearsing and preparing their brand new CD. It is a lovely collection of Christmas songs and traditional Irish tunes. The CD in on the way and it's gonna be available for purchase in the school in December. In the meantime enjoy the photos and two songs from the CD below:
In the last few months the students from the Holy Rosary National School in Wicklow Town were working on this very exciting project. Together with the Music Generation Wicklow they recorded a beautiful collection of songs. The CD is in the final stage of production now and will be available for purchase in the school at the beginning of December.
As always it is a great pleasure to work with talented musicians. Currently I work together with singer and songwriter Trent Ronne on his first EP. This is what Trent says about his music:
"My name is Trent. I’m a musician/music producer from South Africa. I write, compose and perform my own songs. My style is an Electro-Acoustic Pop sound. I utilise acoustic instruments like the Grand Piano and the Guitar with a mix of Electronic Synths, led with Orchestral Percussion or Electronic Drum Pads. When I write a song, I always try to convey emotion with both the music and the lyrics telling the story in different ways. In one of my upcoming songs, “Sunshine” I play the piano in an arpeggio, illustrating the rush of life and lyrically, I talk about how I overcome obstacles that are in-front of me, to reach my final goals. I got a lot more songs coming and trust me, you will love every single one!" It's been great pleasure to work together with the transition year students from St Kevin's Community College in Clondalkin. A lot of talent came to the light during the recording of their original song "Silence". They wrote their own lyrics and arranged the music together with their music director Eimear Crehan. In the song you can hear great vocals, piano, cajon and quite incredible saxophone. It's all being mixed now and prepared for the release. Enjoy the photos and the song will go live very soon.
Here's another music video from the CD 'Christmas Mega Mix' recorded by the St Joseph's National School in Kilcock. 'Do You Hear What I Hear' is performed by the brave and talented school's staff. This coming Thursday is going to be a very special day for all the people involved in producing the Christmas music CD at St Joseph's National School in Kilcock. It'll be launched at a special event, and having just received the CDs from the manufacturer, they sound and look terrific. It's been such a pleasure working on the CD with the school, from initial meetings to plan what might go on the album, all the way through to recording and producing it. The team, lead by principal Ann Mcquillan and the music director Bernadette Shiel-Nolan, brought wonderful energy and confidence to the project, and even revealed some great talent in the team. And they helped to unlock the creativity and joy of the children themselves, all of whom sing on the CD. The launch takes place in St Coca's Church in Kilcock on the 8'th December at 7.30pm The CD, which will raise funds for the school, is on sale at the event and afterwards. It can also order it online at bogdanmusicproduction@gmail.com Schools or choirs interested in making their own CD can get advice from me at 087 615 3175 or info@bogdanmusic.ie |
